We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for working with heavy equipment, we encourage you to apply.

Duties:
* Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
* Perform routine maintenance and preventative services on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
* Troubleshoot mechanical issues and conduct necessary repairs efficiently.
* Utilize diagnostic tools and software to assess vehicle performance.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and maintenance activities.
* Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and operational goals.
* Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in diesel mechanics preferred.
* Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulics.
* Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
* Ability to use diagnostic tools and computer-based repair systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Physical ability to lift heavy parts and work in various conditions.
* Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).

The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $28.00 - $50.00. Hourly pay rate offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work.
