We are seeking to add a full-time roofing sales representative to our team, in a 1099, performance based or base salary with bonus/incentive package.

Responsibilities include:
• Lead Generation & Prospecting
o Research & identify potential customers through various methods (cold calling, referrals, marketing leads, industry connected organizations).
o Generate and pursue sales leads; contact customers; convert leads to sales.
• Customer Engagement
o Present products and services, answer questions, provide product demonstrations, educate clients on benefits.
o Follow-up on marketing generated & other inquiries.
o Maintain client relationships and follow up on post-sale service such as maintenance plans.
• Sales & Negotiation
o Negotiate terms, pricing and contracts; overcome objection and finalize/close sales to meet targets.
o Present roofing options and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.
o Create sales material to present to customers.
o Stay abreast of industry products, methods.
o Conduct roofing & exterior inspections and create accurate job estimates.
• Strategy & Reporting
o Develop sales plans.
o Analyze market data.
o Track performance.
o Adjust tactics to achieve quotas.
o Gather and provide historical records on customer sales, regional leads, other data.
o Proactive inter-team collaboration to ensure project execution and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills. Ability to build rapport with clients, listen and connect with diverse clients.
• Strong persuasion and deal closing skills. Conversant with the sales process.
• Product knowledge with a deep understanding of offerings and how to solve needs.
• Previous experience in the roofing industry; have a good understanding of roofing materials and techniques.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service or other related fields.
• Familiarity with/previous use of CRM (customer relationship management) platforms.
• Strong knowledge/familiarity with our market; particularly the Twin Ports area.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
• Authentic, with clean and neat appearance.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Goal driven, detail oriented, can successfully multi-task.
• Resilient, with the ability to handle rejection and work in a performance driven environment.
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs. or more; climb ladders and walk on rooftops; work in various weather conditions; extended periods of standing and/or driving.
• Must have reliable transportation; have/maintain a valid state driver’s license and automobile insurance.
Full time with compensation package options. Benefits contingent upon type of compensation package.
