Printing Press Assistant needed at Viking Label and Packaging in Nisswa, MN.

Full-Time Position - 2nd Shift, hours ar 3PM to 1:30AM. Salary: $18 - $20 per hour, DOQ. Start immediately.

Responsibilities:
Follow the press schedule and pull all orders ahead of the production schedule.
Setting up job runs (including mixing ink).
Cleaning machine components of press (such as cylinders used).
Pull correct tooling as documented per job specification.
Examine cylinders to ensure they are defect-free and have operational gears and bearings prior to mounting.
Ensure proper cylinder is used per job specification.
Follow all operational procedures, guidelines, and plant safety rules, reporting any concerns or issues to your immediate supervisor,
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Ability to read, write and speak English language to effectively communicate with other employees across the organization.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and quality control mindfulness.
Ability to safely lift, push, pull 50-75 lbs., 10-20 feet in distance and stand for extended periods (pre-employment key physical assessment test is required).
Basic mechanical and computer skills.
Problem solving skills and ability to multitask.
Team player with a positive attitude.
