We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Paramedic to join our emergency medical services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality pre-hospital emergency care and transportation to patients in critical situations. This role requires a strong commitment to patient assessment, airway management, and effective communication with healthcare professionals in urgent care settings.
Ten 24-hr shifts per month. Wage $55K-$60K depending upon experience. Full benefits.

Duties
Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide immediate medical assistance to patients.
Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the nature and extent of injuries or illnesses.
Administer appropriate emergency medical treatment, including airway management, venipuncture, and critical care interventions.
Safely transport patients to hospitals or trauma centers, ensuring their comfort and stability during transit.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including those at Level I Trauma Centers, to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments provided during emergencies.
Operate emergency medical equipment and vehicles safely while adhering to all regulations and protocols.
Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with advancements in emergency medicine.

Qualifications
Valid Paramedic certification from an accredited program.
Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine is preferred.
Strong knowledge of critical care practices and protocols.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during patient transport and care.
Proficiency in venipuncture techniques and airway management skills.
Experience working in a hospital setting or with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
