Swine Herdsperson (Reliance, SD), Assist w/daily care, feeding, watering, processing, & barn upkeep of swine at unit to ensure welfare & well-being of the animals. Perform swine breeding procedures as instructed by Swine Breeder. Perform proper & timely sow treatments & vaccinations. Maintain proper bio-security in breeding dept. Follow all safety procedures & guidelines. Effective communication w/all personnel in breeding dept to ensure a safe & productive dept. Ensure sow cards are timely & accurately completed. Follow all production protocols & procedures. Standing, walking & ability to be on feet 8-10 hrs/day. Frequent bending, reaching, squatting & kneeling. Frequent lifting of objects.
